Natural Rubber otherwise known as Latex – provides excellent abrasion, cut and tear resistance with excellent grip and dexterity. Also protection against water based liquids such as alkalis. Does not protect against petroleum and oil based solvents.
Vinyl Gloves have been tested and approved for use with foods. Contact with fatty foods should be limited to temperatures below 40ºC. Nitrile Gloves are completely latex free whilst still retaining the dexterity of latex gloves. Nitrile offers better resistance to abrasions, cuts and snags as well as providing greater protection against a wide range of solvents, oils, greases and many petroleum based products.
