Hypoallergenic HypaPlast Burn Plasters - Assorted - Pack of 10 Individually Wrapped - [SA-D9080]

Our HypaPlast Burn Plasters are suitable for minor burns and scalds. They have a slight cooling effect to soothe and relieve pain. Plasters have a cool transparent polyurethane gel on a polyurethane film boarder to treat and protect the burn from bacterial penetration. These plasters create a moist environment which presents hard scab formation to reduce scarring and promote healing. Plasters are sterile and individually wrapped.
  • Suitable for use on second degree burns
  • Hypoallergenic adhesive polyurethane film border to prevent bacterial penetration
  • Transparent polyurethane gel dressing containing 60% water
  • Healing process can be observed without removing plaster
  • Individually wrapped and sterile plasters
  • No residue left on the wound upon removal
  • Slight cooling effect for patients comfort
  • Pack contains: 4 x (75 x 100mm) and 6 x (45 x 65m)
  • Plasters should not be use on infected wounds and third degree burns 
How to use:
  • Immediately cool the burn under running water for at least 20 minutes.
  • Pat the area dry gentle before applying a plaster.
  • Ensure you choose a size plaster that is big enough for the wound/injury.
  • The polyurethane film should only come into contact with the skin and not the burn wound/injury.
  • Replace with a new plaster at least once a week or more often if required.
  • The healing process can be observed without removing the plaster.
  • To remove the plaster, press gently down on the skin and carefully lift the polyurethane film around the burn, then carefully lift the plaster away.
