PVC direct cemented sole and heel.
The whole is constructed to comply with the requirements of EN ISO 20345.
  • Vamp Lining and Quarter Lining Leather.
  • Insole 2.75mm/3.00mm 'Texon 480' cellulose board, or 3.0mm 'Redoma'.
  • Steel Toe Cap 200 Joules, to EN ISO 20345. 2
  • Sole and Heel Deep cleated translucent PVC direct cemented to the leather upper. Oil, petrol, acid and alkali resistant. Deep cleats.
  • Footbed Full leather footbed with raised instep support.
  • Ladies version of 5222 – YATE
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

Impact Resistance When the footwear is subjected to the 200 Joules impact test as specified in EN ISO 20344, the minimum clearance inside the steel cap area shall not be less than the appropriate value given in Table 4 of EN ISO 20344. (14mm for size 8.)

Crush Resistance When the footwear is tested in accordance with EN ISO 20344, the minimum clearance inside the steel cap area shall not be less than the appropriate value given in Table 4 of EN ISO 20344. (14mm for size 8 when subjected to 15,000 N.) 3.3 Slip Resistance When tested in accordance with the requirements of EN 13287:2004, on ceramic tiles coated with NaLS, the coefficient of friction shall not be less than 0.28 for the heel and 0.32 when flat.
