This 1.5 KVA 2x16A PTR Transformer is a trade rated portable transformer is used for stepping down UK mains voltage (240v) to 110V CTE (centre tap earthed) site safety supply. This step down transformer is commonly used for 110volt construction industry power tools, lighting and other site machinery. These 110Volt transformers are designed in accordance with IP44 rating, and are suitable for intermittent use of tools using under 1.5KVA and continuous running of electronics using under 0.750KVA.
