These fire blankets are made from a glass fibre fabric, coated on both sides with flame retardant silicone rubber. The properties of glass fibre blankets are well recognised. With the addition of silicone coating on both sides of the fabric, this greatly enhances its performance by reducing the risk of flammable vapours passing through it and re-igniting. Comes in a red durable single-piece moulded 'Pod' casing with a large attractive label. All blankets comply with BS EN 1869:1997 and are BSI Kitemarked
