Commercially available disposable respiratory masks often suffer from the fact that comfort wearing them decreases noticeably when wearing them for longer periods of time (usually this means: the longer you work). This is mainly due to the fact that the exhaled air is inadequately discharged from the mask and the humid, carbon dioxide-containing air is constantly inhaled within the mask: dizziness, headaches and a general feeling of discomfort can result. If the workplace requires the daily use of a respiratory mask, these deficits can lead to a blocked nose and thus lead to breathing problems. The AIR + Mask – a Reference Point in Safety & Comfort With the aid of the AIR + FFP3 dust mask, the problems with conventional protection masks outlined above can be effectively circumvented. The mask is equipped with a valve, which makes breathing much easier. It can also be supplemented by a micro ventilator, which continuously reduces the carbon dioxide and moisture content in the mask, thus providing optimum protection and well-being. The effect of the micro ventilator is convincing: it continuously draws the warm, moist and CO2-filled exhalation air out of the mask and, therefore, prevents moisture and CO2 from accumulating in the protective mask and being inhaled. In addition, the micro ventilator reduces the temperature within the mask by up to 4°C, resulting in a fresh and cool feeling throughout the day – especially during physical work this is a noticeable plus.
