This product has a photocell as a standard component on the circuit board that will switch the light off during daylight hours. This will happen on both the flashing and steady light settings and helps to preserve the battery life.  These LED Cone Lamps have been designed with special consideration for cost-efficiency and low maintenance. The 360 Degree amber lenses provide maximum visibility for up to 1500 Hours, from just two standard AA batteries.

When you arrive at the ‘off’ setting in daylight the light will come on for a couple of seconds and then switch off. (Just to let you know where you are in the flashing, steady and off sequence.) A good way to test it, would be walking in and out of a dark room when the light is switched on to either the flashing or steady setting.

The Cone Lamps are inserted from the top, using a rubber collar for increased grip, to fit entry holes from 28mm up to 46mm in diameter. To secure the lamp in a tamperproof position there is a security disk which can be fitted from the underside using a magnetic-tipped screw driver.
