Calcium Gluconate Gel is used in the treatment of skin burns caused by Hydrofluoric Acid, and prevents the extraction of calcium from the wound reducing burn damage to the bone and deep tissue. Calcium Gluconate Gel should be stored wherever Hydrofluoric Acid is in use. The immediate application of this antidote gel reduces the risk of hypocalcaemia and heals and relieves pain. Calcium Gluconate Gel should be stored in a refrigerator if possible. Calcium Gluconate Gel is easy and painless to apply.
