The Cab Track Circuit Operating Clip (TCOD) is an essential railway safety device designed to protect trains and track workers during emergency situations.
By creating a controlled short circuit between the running rails, it causes the signalling system to detect the track as occupied, automatically setting signals to danger and preventing other trains from entering the protected section.
Compact and easy to deploy, this single-use device is supplied sealed and is intended for use in accordance with UK railway operating procedures.
