Specially developed for excellent performance, the Sundström SR 500 powered respirator supplies filtered air to the user’s chosen face shield or respirator hood and is ideally suited to intensive situations in place of a filter respirator. This lightweight power unit is comfortable to wear around you while the simple controls make it easy to get started. Simply add the appropriate face shield and relevant filters for your application.
  • Powered respirator unit to supply filtered air to the user
  • For use with a range of Sundström filters, hoods and face shields relevant to your application (available separately)
  • Standard airflow of 175-240L/min
  • Optical, acoustic and vibrating warning alarms in the event of low airflow or battery
  • LED indicator shows battery life at start-up
  • Easy-to-use display and controls allow user to start and stop quickly
  • Automatic airflow control
  • Robust casing prolongs lifespan of product
  • Supplied with standard lithium-ion battery and charger with a charging time of 1.5 hours and an operating time of up to 13 hours
  • Also includes two SR 512 pre-filter holders, ten SR 221 pre-filters and two SR 510 P3 filters
  • Offers electronics ingress protection to class IP67
