MSA V-Gard Cooling Crown Cooler - [MS-GA90022]
The MSA V-Gard Cooling Crown Cooler (GA90022) is an evaporative cooling insert designed to improve wearer comfort in hot working environments. Using HyperKewl™ cooling technology, it helps reduce heat build-up inside the helmet by absorbing and slowly releasing water through evaporation. Ideal for construction, utilities, industrial maintenance and other outdoor applications, it provides several hours of cooling while remaining lightweight and reusable.
Key Features:
- HyperKewl™ evaporative cooling technology helps reduce heat stress.
- Provides 5–10 hours of cooling after activation.
- Can cool the wearer by approximately 12°C below the ambient temperature.
- Simply activate by soaking in water for one minute.
- Lightweight, durable and reusable.
- Hook-and-loop fastening allows quick installation and removal.
- UPF 50+ fabric offers additional protection against UV exposure.
- Washable and designed for repeated use.
- Compatible with all MSA V-Gard safety helmets fitted with V-Gard suspensions. (Hard hat sold separately.)

- PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 – PPE Category I.
- Tested in combination with MSA V-Gard helmets to BS EN 397 as an approved helmet accessory.
