Our SHARPSGUARD eco orange 2.5 is a general purpose sharps container providing maximum capacity in the minimum working space, it is ideal for use in a ward or department setting. This is the next evolution of the SHARPSGUARD container, offering a sustainable alternative made from 44% recycled plastic. This container is for the disposal of sharps that have not been contaminated with medicinal products, via the orange waste stream.
Whilst in use this container can be positioned safely at the point of use in a tray, small wall bracket or trolley bracket from our POUDS range, suitable accessories for this container are detailed below. It is for disposal by incineration or other authorised process and is for the consignment of waste categorised by EWC codes: 18-01-01, 18-01-03*, 18-02-01, 18-02-02*.
Usage
How to assemble the lid
- Place lid on container with the aperture at the front in line with the label.
- Press lid firmly on sides of container, listen for an audible click
- Press lid firmly on front and back of container, listen for an audible click
- Check all around the lid to ensure its assembled correctly
- Certified for UN3291 Clinical Waste
- Certified to ISO 23907-1: 2019
