HypaStop Wound Closure Strips, also known as skin closure strips, suture strips, butterfly stitches or butterfly bandages are typically used for minor cuts and wounds, but in some cases can also being used for minor surgical incisions. They hold the edges of a wound in place while the skin heals itself, providing casualties with a quick, simple and less scarring alternative to staples and sutures.
These strips are ideal for wound treatment when there isn’t an excessive amount of bleeding, and the wound isn’t on a joint or area of the body that moves frequently.
The strips are sterile, hypoallergenic and latex free.

How long do they stay on
HypaStop Wound Closure Strips usually remain in place for 5 to 7 days. They are designed to naturally detach as the wound heals. If they have not fallen off by then, they can be removed by gently soaking them with warm water.
