Mindray BeneHeart C Series Defibrillators Disposable Pads - Adult/Paediatric - [SA-A886] - (LP)

The Mindray AED Disposable Pads (one pair included) are designed for use with all Mindray C Series defibrillators, including the C1A Automatic, C1A Semi-Automatic, and C2 models. Ideal for replacing used or expired pads, they can be pre-connected to the device to ensure rapid deployment in an emergency.

Why Do Electrode Pads Expire

Electrode pads contain a special adhesive gel that helps conduct the defibrillator’s electrical shock through the skin and into the heart. Over time, the chemicals in the gel begin to break down, causing it to dry out and lose its adhesive and conductive properties.

This degradation can lead to poor pad adhesion and ineffective shock delivery, reducing the chances of a successful resuscitation. Using unexpired pads ensures they stay firmly in place and deliver the correct amount of energy with each shock, a critical factor during cardiac emergencies.
