- The flat aluminium backing plate is used to firmly affix the datum plate to flat-faced structures such as under bridges, over bridges and viaducts ensuring the datum plate is fixed flush to the structure.
- The plates are fixed in place using Hilti HPS-1 6/25 Anchor Fixings.
