3M Versaflo Chemical Hood Assembly with Premium Reusable Head Suspension and Inner Shroud - [3M-S-855-E]
The 3M Hood S-855 offers head, face, neck and shoulder coverage as well as providing eye and face protection to EN166 - liquid splash and low energy impact (grade F) the same classification for impact resistance as safety spectacles.

- The 3M™ Versaflo™ TR-302E+, TR-602E and TR-802E Powered Air Turbo Units, meeting the TH3 performance requirements of EN 12941:1998 + A2:2008.
- The 3M™ Versaflo™ V-100E Cooling Unit, V-200E Heating Unit and V-500E Regulator, meeting the 3A performance requirements of EN 14594:2018
Features:
- Comfortable, knitted inner collar respiratory seal.
- Manufactured using a chemical-resistant fabric.
- Grey multi-layer barrier film extrusion laminated to polypropylene spun bond.
- In the 3M S-855 'starter pack' you will receive one head harness and one 3M S-805E Replacement Fabric Hood which is quickly and easily exchanged as required.
- The Versaflo range of modular components allows you to choose how you want your system built, with the option to change it in the future.
- Provides head, face, neck and shoulder coverage from dust and paint spray
- Provides a good field of view
- Hazard Type:Gas, Vapour and Particulates, Liquid Splash, Low Energy Flying Particles / Dust
When used in conjunction with 3M Powered and Supplied Air systems the 3M S-855E offers an assigned protection factor (APF*) of:
- Jupiter APF= 40
- Dustmaster APF= 10
- TR-300 APF = 40
- V-500 APF= 40
*Assigned Protection Factor (APF) as detailed in HSE HSG53.
