The Dräger X-plore® 8000 Standard Long Hood (R59820) is a disposable protective hood developed to provide enhanced respiratory, face and eye protection for professionals working in contaminated environments. Designed for use with the Dräger X-plore® 8000 powered air respirator range and the Dräger X-plore® 9300 airline system, this long hood extends over the shoulders to offer additional coverage of the upper body. Manufactured from lightweight PP/PE material, it combines reliable protection with excellent comfort, making it suitable for prolonged use across a variety of industrial and hygienic applications.

- Disposable long hood manufactured from lightweight polypropylene/polyethylene material.
- Extended design provides additional coverage over the shoulders and upper torso.
- Suitable for environments where greater body coverage is required than a standard short hood.
- Positive pressure airflow helps reduce the risk of contaminated air entering the hood.
- Large transparent visor delivers a wide, unobstructed field of vision.
- Optimised airflow promotes cooling and wearer comfort during extended use.
- Internal adjustable head suspension ensures a stable and secure fit.
- Replaceable sweatband improves hygiene and long-term comfort.
- Rear breathing hose connection allows balanced weight distribution and unrestricted movement.
- Ideal for pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratories, chemical processing, food production and healthcare environments.
- Size: S/M
- Provides respiratory protection suitable for asbestos removal work when used with a certified Dräger X-plore® TH3 PAPR system and appropriate P3 particulate filters, subject to local regulatory requirements.
Certifications:
- Certified to EN 12941 Class TH3 when used with compatible Dräger X-plore® 8000 powered air respirators.
- Certified to EN 14594 Class 3B when connected to the Dräger X-plore® 9300 compressed air system.
- Eye protection certified to EN 166:2002 (Marking: 1 F 3).
- Compatible with Dräger X-plore® Powered Air Purifying Respirator (8300, 8500 and 8700)
- Compatible with Dräger X-plore® 9300 Airline Respirator System.
- Designed for use with the Dräger R59620 and R59630 hose.
