The Dräger X-plore® 8000 Standard Long Hood Large/XL (R59830) is a disposable respiratory hood designed for users who require increased internal space and extended upper body coverage. Developed for use with the Dräger X-plore® 8000 powered air respirator series and the Dräger X-plore® 9300 airline system, this Large/XL long hood combines lightweight construction with dependable respiratory, face and eye protection. Its extended design helps shield the shoulders and upper torso while maintaining excellent wearer comfort and unrestricted visibility during demanding industrial tasks.

- Wide panoramic visor ensures excellent visibility with minimal visual distortion.
- Positive pressure airflow helps prevent the ingress of airborne contaminants.
- Efficient internal airflow enhances comfort and reduces heat build-up.
- Adjustable head support system delivers a secure and stable fit.
- Hygienic replaceable sweatband improves wearer comfort during long shifts.
- Rear breathing hose connection promotes balanced weight distribution and unrestricted movement.
- Suitable for pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, cleanroom operations, food production and healthcare applications.
- Suitable for asbestos remediation applications when used as part of a complete Dräger X-plore® TH3 powered air respiratory system fitted with the appropriate particulate filters and in accordance with local regulations.
Certifications:
- Certified to EN 12941 Class TH3 when used with compatible Dräger X-plore® 8000 powered air respirators.
- Certified to EN 14594 Class 3B when connected to the Dräger X-plore® 9300 compressed air respiratory system.
- Eye protection certified to EN 166:2002 (Marking: 1 F 3).
Compatible Respiratory Systems & Breathing Hoses:
- Compatible with Dräger X-plore® Powered Air Purifying Respirator (8300, 8500 and 8700)
- Compatible with Dräger X-plore® 9300 Airline Respirator System.
- Designed for use with the Dräger R59620 and R59630 hose.
